UniBank Donates $32,500 to Local Food Pantries

 
UniBank donates $32,500 to local food pantriesSam S. Pepper, Jr., President and CEO of UniBank, recently announced that 13 local food pantries were each the recipients of $2,500 donations from the Bank totaling $32,500. The donations will help the food pantries in their efforts to ease hunger and support local residents in need.
 
The following food pantries were each recipients of a $2,500 donation: Peace of Bread Community Kitchen (Whitinsville), St. John’s Food Pantry (Worcester), New Beginnings Kitchen (Woonsocket, RI), Blackstone Millville Food Pantry (Blackstone), Grafton Food Bank (Grafton), The Blessing Barn (Mendon), Sutton Food Pantry (Sutton), The United Parish of Upton Food Pantry (Upton), Quinsigamond Community College Food Pantry (Worcester), St. Anne’s Human Services Food Pantry (Shrewsbury), Douglas Food Pantry (Douglas), Daily Bread Food Pantry (Milford), and The People First Food Pantry (Uxbridge).
 
“So many neighbors in our local communities struggle to put food on the table,” stated Sam S. Pepper, Jr., UniBank’s President and CEO. “On behalf of the entire UniBank team, I am proud to support our local food pantries with these donations. The work the organizations do to provide hunger relief is critical to individuals and families in need throughout Central Massachusetts.”
