Bonnie Willand Returns as Branch Manager of Blackstone UniBank Branch

Kenneth J. Redding, president and chief executive officer at UniBank, recently announced that Bonnie Willand, assistant vice president, has returned to the branch manager position at the bank’s Blackstone branch.  In this position, Ms. Willand will be responsible for the leadership of the sales staff and business development in the Blackstone area.

Ms. Willand has been employed by UniBank for more than twelve years and has over 28 years of banking experience.  She was formerly the branch manager at the bank’s Upton office. In 1998 she became the branch manager at the bank’s Blackstone office, where she was later promoted to assistant vice president. For the past two years Ms. Willand has worked in the bank’s commercial lending department.

Ms. Willand holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Nichols College, a Bachelor’s degree from Anna Maria College and is a graduate of Massachusetts Financial School for Bankers. She is also a recent graduate of the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Blackstone Valley program.

Ms. Willand is very active in the Blackstone Valley community. She is an advisory board member at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School and is a member of the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Membership Committee. As a volunteer for Junior Achievement of Massachusetts, Ms. Willand received the Bronze Leadership Award.

Formerly a resident of Massachusetts, Ms. Willand currently resides in Rhode Island.
