UniBank Awards
$18,000 in Scholarships
Each year, UniBank offers scholarships to support the educational
endeavors of exceptional students in the Blackstone Valley. A total of
nine scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement,
financial need, character and involvement in school or community
activities.
The 2008 scholarship winners are:

Araba Amonu, a graduate of Blackstone-Millville Regional High School, will attend Brown University where she will major in Liberal Medical Education.

Sarah Bird, a graduate of Northbridge High School, will attend Boston University where she will major in International Business Management.
- Matthew James Carr, a graduate of Sutton High School, will attend the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he will major in Business.
- Farrah Griffin, a graduate of Uxbridge High School, will attend the University of Vermont, where she will major in Social Work.
- Kaitlin Henault, a graduate of Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, will attend Worcester State College where she will major in Physical Therapy.
- Michelle Massey, a graduate of Nipmuc Regional High School, will attend Salve Regina University where she will major in Nursing.
- John Michael Picard, a graduate of Whitinsville Christian High School.
- Christine Renzoni, a graduate of Grafton High School, will attend the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she will major in Wildlife Biology.
- Emmalee Small, a Graduate of Douglas High School, will attend The College of the Holy Cross where she will major in Pre-Medicine.
