UniBank Donates $15,750 to Local Libraries

Nine Blackstone Valley libraries received a total of $15,750 from UniBank in community grants. The libraries, each a recipient of a $1,750 donation, are the Whitinsville Social Library, Upton Town Library, Uxbridge Free Library, Douglas Simon Fairfield Library, Blackstone Public Library, Grafton Public Library, Millville Public Library, Bellingham Public Library and Sutton Free Public Library.

UniBank proudly supports libraries’ efforts because they coincide with the bank’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents in the Blackstone Valley. In these tough economic times of budget reductions and rising costs, all of the beneficiary libraries voiced enthusiastic appreciation for this generous donation. Uses cited for this grant include updating computer technology and offering various children’s programs.
