UniBank is proud to announce four Summer Community Concerts sponsored by the bank and held throughout the Blackstone Valley. The events are free and the public is invited to attend:

Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. The Carillon Women’s Chorus will be performing at St. Theresa’s Church in Blackstone, MA.

Friday, July 7, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. The Blackstone Valley Community Concert Band will be performing at the Uxbridge Town Common as part of Uxbridge’s Fourth of July festivities.

Sunday, July 23, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. The Blackstone Valley Community Concert Band will be performing at the VFW Post 5594 in Upton. The Uxbridge First Holiday Night Committee will be selling snacks and light refreshments at this event.

Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. The Blackstone Valley Community Concert Band will be performing on the Whitinsville Town Common as part of the town’s summer concert series.

The Carillon Women’s Chorus is in its 16^th season and is a group of over 25 women from Northern Rhode Island and Blackstone ranging in ages from 17 to 70. Featuring accompaniment and a solo flute artist, the chorus performs an assortment of music including folksongs and contemporary selections.

The Blackstone Valley Community Concert Band is a local group that is well known by their performances in the Blackstone Valley.  There are over 50 band members from throughout the Blackstone Valley, ranging in age from 12 to 79.  They will be performing a wide variety of selections including marches, patriotic songs, Broadway show tunes, a collection of Tin-Pan Alley favorites and more.
