UniBank's 1st Annual Community Appreciation Day
June 2, 2007
UniBank hosted its 1st Annual Community Appreciation Day on June 2, 2007. The event offered a free and entertaining day for children and adults of all ages. WXLO broadcasted live from the bank in the morning drawing crowds from throughout the Blackstone Valley to this family event. It is estimated that nearly 1,000 people attended this year's Community Appreciation Day!
Entertainment included two moon bounces, face painting, a visit by the Worcester Sharks, a pitch burst and live music by local band, Route 66. Free food was served all day by UniBank employees, and Bangma's Dairy Bar from Uxbridge served delicious ice cream to the crowds, offering a refreshing treat on a hot and sunny day.
UniBank employees enjoyed the day as well, and were able to use the day as a chance to say "thank you" to their friends and neighbors in the Blackstone Valley. UniBank is looking forward to next year's event, and anticipates an even larger crowd than this year. If you were able to attend this year's event, we are happy that you could make it. If you could not join us this year, we hope you will be able to make it in 2008!
