Ryan F. Buckley Joins UniBank as Chief Information Officer

Kenneth J. Redding, president and CEO of UniBank has announced that Ryan F. Buckley has joined UniBank as chief information officer (CIO).  In his new position, Mr. Buckley is responsible for all technical and operational functions for the bank. This includes oversight of the bank’s technology infrastructure, online banking, deposit and lending operations, applications services, risk management, facilities, physical security, information security, bank secrecy, anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Buckley has over thirteen years of experience in management and leadership roles in the information technology field. For the past five years he served as vice president and director of Enterprise Information Security for Citizens Financial Group.

Mr. Buckley holds a certificate in Advanced Leadership from the Babson College Executive Education Program. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell in 1992. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He has also been a guest lecturer on the subject of information security at the Bentley College MBA program and has been a guest speaker at the National ADT Financial Services Security Conference.

Formerly a resident of Dracut, MA, Mr. Buckley currently resides in Franklin with his wife and three children.
